Residential and Commercial Building Permits

Residential and Commercial Building Permits

Your first step toward a legal and safe construction project

A building permit is a mandatory requirement before starting any residential or commercial construction project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This process, mandated by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, ensures that all construction activities comply with approved engineering standards and building regulations.

Authorities Responsible for Issuing Permits

Municipalities and local authorities in various regions and cities are responsible for issuing and approving building permits.
Departments of Urban Planning and Development oversee the submission, review, and approval of permit applications according to official guidelines.
Once approved, inspection and control departments supervise construction to ensure compliance with the approved designs and regulations.
